THE GILA WARS -- 2 Weeks

I'm amazed that my next novel, The Gila Wars, will hit the shelves in two weeks. It concludes, at least for the moment, a six-book series that I started writing in June, 2008 with The Rattlesnake Season.

I had never written a series before, so I had a lot to learn. Time will tell whether those lessons were well-learned.

This is a milestone for me, part of my dream as a writer to write one series, then go on to another. I feel pretty lucky.
